Bio[]
Ugundi is a warrior from the Matoba tribe. He appears on the island accompanied by two other Matoba tribe warriors searching for his bride Kilani who disappeared while off exploring. He discovers that she has been rescued by Gilligan and has made a life debt to him. Ugundi wants to fight Gilligan to reclaim her, but the Professor plots to save Gilligan by using curare to place Gilligan in a death-like sleep until Ugundi and Kilani depart. However, Ugundi sees Gilligan as a fellow warrior and wants to send his spirit into the afterlife with a funeral pyre. This leaves Ginger and the castaways to stall for time for Gilligan to wake from the effects of the curare. Just after being lit on fire, he finally awakes, terrifying Ugundi and Kilani from the island.

- Ugundi was played by actor Michael Forest, who is also known for playing Apollo on the "Star Trek" episode, "Who Mourns For Adonais.'
