Bio[edit | edit source]
Henry Elliott and his unnamed wife were two of the first guests to stay at the Castaways. Henry is the owner and manager of Henry Real Estate in Cleveland, Ohio with numerous deals and transactions going on at home. Together, they have two kids. His wife brings him to the island to relax, but he spends the entire time obsessing over his business. Even when they meet another married couple and the wife introduces herself as living in Arizona, Henry relates real estate about it, and the husband gives some friendly advice, "I am a dentist, but you don't see me talking about teeth here."
Although the island is purported to be cut off from civilization without any telecommunications, Gilligan accidentally reveals to Mr. Elliot into admitting about a secret wire in the event of medical emergencies and other crises to contact Honolulu. He manages to finds it near Naheeti's work station and uses it to call Cleveland about business. Meanwhile, Gilligan and the Skipper try taking him fishing to get him to relax, but mishaps get the better of the three, washing Gilligan and Skipper out of their boat and nearly drowning Henry. The Professor tries taking him scuba diving, and while getting his massage from Ginger, Mr. Elliott gets an idea to start an exercise studio in a warehouse back home. When his wife threatens to keep him on the island until he relaxes, Henry adopts a slovenly lifestyle to disgust her. Eventually, they come to a truce, and Henry promises to cut back on work. When it comes time to leave, Henry promises to return to the resort in six months.
