The diaphram of the Castway's stethoscope.
The earpieces of the Castaway's stethoscope.
Bio
The Castaway's stethoscope functions in purpose as any normal medical stethoscope would, but appears more primitive and advanced in some ways. It is constructed with conch shells for the earpieces, bamboo reeds for the shafts, vines for tubing and a cut-off gourd for a diaphragm. It is seemingly more advanced in that it can operate through several layers of clothing. The Professor also uses it to listen and examine tremors under the island from the volcano.
