Bio[]
Ricardo Laughingwell is an old Silent Film movie director from around the 1920s and 1930s. He and his wife, actress Fifi LeFrance, sailed away on their honeymoon cruise and supposedly became lost at sea, their yacht sinking or drifting into the lagoon. Fifi and her husband's fate is unrecorded except for the remark that they had sailed away to the South Pacific on their honeymoon. Several years later, the remains of their yacht are discovered by Gilligan and the Skipper with "a rutabaga-sized hole" and no starboard side, but The Castaways are able to salvage two crates with camera equipment and costumes in them.
