Old Doctor Young

Bio

Old Doctor Young is one of Mary Ann's favorite radio soap operas, the other one being Blaze Of Noon. The series seems to be about a patient named Irene Forbisher and the trials and tribulations of new doctor Young Doctor Young under his father, Old Doctor Young. One of the nurses might be named Nurse Blabbermouth.
An earlier plot involved a doctor, Young Doctor Malone, who left delivering Mrs. Tillingham's baby to go mend Peter Pittman's arm, who was dating Dr. Malone's girlfriend. He had swerved to miss the Widow Watson, a good friend of his father who was shopping for Annabelle Hoff. As Mr. Howell points out, it was enough to drain the batteries on the radio.
