After hearing a report through the radio that the judge who married the Howell's wasn't authorized, the castaways decide to have a second wedding for the Howells, with the [[Skipper]] presiding. Because a marriage by a sea captain isn't legal on land, the marriage takes place on a raft in the lagoon. But during the ceremony the Howells (although it seems [[Mrs. Howell]] is Ms. Wentworth again) call off the wedding, after some bickering. The castaways cook up a plan to make the Howells jealous of each other. When that scheme fails, the Skipper dresses up like a [[headhunter]], which ends in [[Mr. Howell]] protecting Ms. Wentworth, throwing a coconut at the Skipper's head. The Howells are back together! The next day, however, a retraction comes over the radio saying that it was a different judge that was a fraud, not the one that married the Howells. So the Howells were married all along!

Trivia

  • For the Skipper to legally marry the Howells, he would have to be five miles out from shore. However, since they have been married for over twenty years, they would legally still be married under a common-law marriage.
  • Being shipwrecked castaways, the Skipper is still legally permitted to marry the Howells without having to be out at sea.
  • Mrs. Howell reveals her wedding ring was her great-great-great-great-grandmother's ring.
