In 1937, he worked at a Canadian Radio Station in Flin Flon, Manitoba where he was hired as a narrator as well as to sing, play the piano and write scripts. His career soon took him to CBS Studios in Canada where he worked as an extra on several TV series, he was known for his beautiful narrative voice . . . later starring in the series "Broadway Is My Beat," as Detective Danny Clover. He also starred in "The Amazing Colossal Man," "The Phantom Tollbooth" and "The Fast and the Furious" He was married twice first Leona Isabel ? and second marriage to actress Jean Howell.
