Hilda and Herman are two island tortoises which Gilligan adopts as pets and tries to take back home in the Skipper's sea trunk.
Trivia[]
- Gilligan mentions Herman again in Lovey's Secret Admirer; on the Professor's Lie Detector, he says he was in love with Herman, but she was evidently in love with Hilda.
- Gilligan's other pet turtle was named Rex.
