Synopsis
Gilligan has a pet - a lion! The only problem is when the cans of stew run out... will the lion think of the castaways as its dinner?
Trivia
- Gilligan thinks of the Lion as a pet - however, the Lion has different thoughts - The Skipper is a cow, Mr. Howell is a horse, Mrs. Howell is a llama; Ginger and Mary are does; the Professor is a owl and Gilligan is a big can of beef stew!
- When Gilligan is wondering what to do with the last can of beef stew - the skipper gives him an answer - he roars like a hungry lion!
- Either the lion washed up sometime prior to this episode or there's a second lion on the island because in Gilligan's Mother-in-Law, Gilligan rushes out of a cave terrified of a lion's roar.
- The appearance of the cans of beef on the island are a mystery, although they might have washed up on the island sometime prior.
- The lion's off-screen name was Zamba.
