Eric Allen Kramer is a Los Angeles, California native who attended the BFA program at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada. Through his acting career, he was most known for playing large tough characters with a side career in fight choreography. He made his acting debut in the 1987 TV-movie, "The Gunfighters," which parlayed him into the role of Thor in "The Incredible Hulk Returns," one of his most recognized TV roles. He went on to parts in the TV shows "Murder She Wrote," "Roseanne," "Growing Pains," "Cheers," "Wings" and "Seinfeld." His movie career and comedic skills began with "Robin Hood: Men in Tights," landing him a role in the TV series, "The Hughleys." He also appeared in dual roles as Alan Hale, Jr. and The Skipper in the 2001 CBS docudrama, Surviving Gilligan's Island. His most popular role to date was as the role of the befuddled father on "Good Luck Charlie," which ended in 2014.

Kramer continues to work a member of the Antaeus Classical Rep Company; he received an Ovatti Award nomination for his role in "The Wood Demon."
