Equarico is a tiny unstable Latin American country located somewhere near the coast of Chile. It seems to be a republic ruled by President Rodriguez, and it is so small that even the Island is twice as big as it. However, dissidents in the country overthrow Rodriquez and send him into exile, but he is brought back after the country's loyalists once more gain power. However, they lose faith in him after he starts claiming that he was president over a group of people while in exile, and they exile him once more.

- "Equarico" seems to be named from merging the names of the countries of Mexico and Equador.
- Rodriguez tried renaming Gilligan's Island "Equarico West."
