Born Edna Jean Peaker on February 22, 1944 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, E. J. Peaker studied acting in high school, continuing her studies in drama at the University of New Mexico and in Vienna, Austria. Not much is known about her career; she first appeared in the motion picture 'Hello, Dolly!" in 1969 and later appeared on Broadway in "Bye Bye Birdie." She has made over fifty-two television commercials and starred with Robert Morse in a musical series, "That's Life" in 1968. Although primarily a stage actress, she also starred in the TV shows "That Girl," "The Flying Nun," "The Odd Couple," "Night Gallery," "Wonder Woman," "Charlie's Angels" and "The Greatest American Hero" as well as several motion pictures, "Graduation Day," "Fire In The Night," "the Banker" and "The Last Producer." Renowned for her sweet giggle, she also produced movies, such as the 1993 made-for-TV movie "Broken Promises: Taking Emily Back." At some point, she married, living in Los Angeles, California with her adopted son until her husband's passing in 2010. Most recently, she starred in the TV-movie, Surviving Gilligan's Island in the dual roles of Mrs. Howell and Natalie Schafer
