David McDearmon is an American actor and television director. He was born February 22, 1914 in Wilmette, Illinois, and under the name "David Orrick," he worked as an actor in several TV shows and movies. He met his wife, Patricia Breslin, while they were both were working on the TV series "Hallmark Hall of Fame" in 1951. As a director, he worked on several TV shows, such as "Peter Gunn," "The Twilight Zone," "Bonanza," "Burke's Law," "Bewitched," "That Girl" and "Gilligan's Island." He passed away on August 18, 1979 in Los Angeles, California, survived by his wife, who he had divorced in 1969, and his two children.
