There is virtually no known bio info for Bob D'arcy and no known images for him. Besides "Gilligan's Island," he starred in two episodes of "Dusty's Trail" and two episodes of "The Good Guys," both of which starred Bob Denver. He also starred in the French films, "Cinq Tulipes Rouges" in 1949, "L'homme du Picardie" in 1968 and "Le passe-muraille" in 1977.

I know Bob D'Arcy, personally, and I asked him about the French films credited to him on Wikia.com and IMDB.com. He said that he is being mixed up with a different Bob D'Arcy. He was, indeed, on Gilligan's Island, Bonanza and several other films and TV shows as an actor and stunt man, as well as worked for Walt Disney for many years, but he was not in any French films -- that is the other person with a similar name (Bob Darcy, no apostrophe). Bob D'Arcy (with the apostrophe), just turned 89 earlier this year (2017) and I am helping him to publish his biography, of sorts, that discusses his lifetime in the entertainment industry, working with many well-known and beloved actors and actresses in Hollywood, and which will include several, often hilarious and unknown, stories that never made "the rags" or television, and many original photographs. For example, in his book, he mentions a wild party at Walt Disney's private suite whilst Walt was out of town, which Walt found out about when he returned, and...you'll have to read the book to find out what happened next. Or the stories involving Martin Sheen, automobiles and a driving on/off the screen that...again, you'll have to read the book to found out more. The book is shocking, as well as incredibly amusing. Bob's home is filled with Hollywood memorabilia and photographs, awards and more things that have stories behind every one. Bob also played with some of the Jazz Scene's musical greats of that era, before going off to fight in the war. We plan to publish on Amazon when the book editing is finalized later this year. By the way, in his book, we will be publishing photographs with Bob and the cast of Gilligan's Island, including one or more where Bob was still in the Robot costume with the headpiece removed. Most of Bob's original photographs of Disneyland while it was being constructed were donated to Disney Archives, some will be in this book, too, but many more may be included in another book wherein Bob discusses much more about Walt Disney, Disneyland Park, and it's more famous guests. I am, currently, recording short video interviews with Bob, as a teaser and author platform, wherein he mentions some of the countless details in this book and the upcoming books planned. If interested in the book and videos, we can be reached at bobdarcy@aladdinstudios.com.
